National Conference ATVES 2010


New Year Wishes from Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions!

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering,GGITS is organizing Two days National Conference On Advancement & Future Trends in VLSI Design & Embedded SystemsATVES 2010 on 23rd & 24th Feb, 2010.

The objectives of the National Conference is to create awareness about modern developments in the area of VLSI Technology and Embedded System and promote R&D activities for real life applications. This Conference on VLSI Design is a forum that brings together researchers and designers to discuss various aspects of VLSI design, electronic design automation (EDA), enabling technologies in embedded systems.

This two-day conference features panel discussions, regular paper sessions, special sessions and design contest. The aim of the conference is to cover the two vital areas of semiconductor industry, VLSI and embedded systems.
Papers are invited from research scholars, engineers ,faculty and students.The prospective authors are invited to submit their full length paper by email to atves10@ggits.org.The deadline for the submission of full paper is 30/01/2010.The papers must be submitted in electronic format (MS-Word or PDF).The papers must follow the IEEE format and should not exceed 6 pages.They will be independently peer-reviewed and acceptance will be notified.

We solicit your active support and invite faculty/ students/ researchers to send their research papers in the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

National Conference On Next Generation Communication and Computing NCNGCC 09

College has secured “ 3 University RanksOf the two batches passed out- 
1. Ms. Shreelekha Pandey    (B.E CSE-2007 Batch )   secured 2nd Rank in the University and was awarded Silver medal .
2. Ms. Ruchi Khare (B.E CSE-2008 Batch )   secured 1st Rank in the University and was awarded Gold medal .

3 .Ms. Akansha Naik (B.E EC -2008 Batch )  secured 1st Rank in the University and was awarded Gold medal .

Siemens Selects 2 GGITS students

Congratulations on the selection of 2 students from Electronics Engineering Branch of GGITS by Siemens , Worli Mumbai. Jaideep Tiwari  & Ravindra Patel of EC 2008 Batch of Gyan Ganga Institute Of Technology & Sciences are the two worthy candidates selected by Siemens.The company has offered a salary package of 22000 p.m during the training period of one year . It was a rigorous competition out of which these 2 students were selected . We wish them a bright future ahead.

HCL Nodal Training Center, A Successful initiative by Gyan Ganga Group

Gyan Gnaga Institute of Technology and Sciences and HCL have established HCL Nodal training at the college campus for the period of three years. In line with this they have successfully completed second module of the training.

On this training Mr. Ashok Verma HOD CS Department GGITS, said that during these Six months of intensive training students have got training in leading IT technologies like Dot net, C #, Java etc. This kind of training will form a base for the projects to be undertaken by the students. Apart from the training HCL is conducting workshops for the students on various aspects like developing the soft skills of the students, training on latest technologies like AJAX, UML etc, Networking & Pre Placement talks for training the students on how to prepare for an interview.

Mr. Mukesh Narula of HCL congratulated all the students for successfully completing the module. On this occasion HCL has awarded the best students identified during the course. Mr. Narula said HCL will also organize various quizzes and competitions to hunt the hidden talents of the students. We will also take the students for industrial visits to give them very close look of a corporate environment. The best student identified during the course will be given an opportunity to present his/her project in HCL head office. We will also train the students on Red Hat, Microsoft certification course these certificates are internationally recognized. 

Mr. Gourav a student of Electronic Communications branch, GGITS said “We are thankful to the institution for giving us such an opportunity through which we have got to know the industry requirements from us and how to fulfill them.”

Ms. Prachi a student of Electronic Communications branch, GGITS said” We are feeling more confident now to face the corporate world, because we have developed many projects according to the industry standards.”

On this occasion Mr. Rajneet Jain, Secretary, Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences congratulated all the students and all trainers from HCL of HCL Nodal center. Mr. Jain said we are constantly working on enhancing the placement opportunities for the students for their better future.

G.G.I.TANS DEVISED A NEW MACHINE

Mr. Vivek Tiwari, Vipin Awasthi and Anchal Shukla Mechanical Engineering branch, 8th  Sem of G.G.I.T.S have developed one model, name “Geometric Figure Drafting Machine” it is a machine which will make accurate nuts and bolts before 10 minutes in comparison of C.N.C Machine .

The CNC Machine is used in the Factory for cutting tools, circle and for making gear . In this Machine there are M1 to M17 programs, which are able to do 17 types of cutting but for model cutting we can use different types of program. Machine is working on two axes X and Y which take lot of space, on other hand Geometric Figure Drafting Machine is taking less space due to single axis. 

The important thing is their about this Machine is that you can operate this Machine while sitting in other State or other Country by the help of Internet .

NOW MOBILE WILL DOMINATE THE COMPUTER

Students of  VIIIth Sem Computer Science Branch of G.G.I.T.S has achieved a great Success in their field . They developed one software name “Blue Tooth Remote Excess Software” 

This software has been developed by Mr. Amitesh Rathore, Mr. Abhishek Soni & Mr. Rahul Singh, talking about the software they said, by the help of blue tooth device in mobile phone they can run Computer and successfully they showed whatever they claimed.

Mr. Rahul Singh said we can give command to Computer by the help of Mobile, Blue Tooth Device . While typing the command in Mobile and then it should be sent parallel port of Computer and when it come on contact  of Relay Coil device it starts working .

Students further informed that they have been able to do so by the guidance, they received from H.O.D Department of Computer Science, Mr. Ashok Verma and other faculty members like Mr. Sekher Tandon, Mr. L.C Jain and Mr. Vinod Kapse.

They further claimed and assured that they would in position to lock and unlock the four wheelers also very shortly.
