First Rank in MANIT ,ROBOTICS-EXPLORER

Student of Computer Science and Engg. 6th Semester-Mahendra Pratap Singh,Ajith Anand , Koushik Das & Varun Kumar Agrawal got first position in Robotics event held in MANIT in April 2010.They made an autonomous Robot that could detect collision and sustain in the arena for stipulated period of time.There were 3 rounds with increasing level of difficulty but their robot was the leader in all the rounds .

The robot was made with microcontrollers and two TSOP sensors.The software used was Flash Magic and overall programming was done with Embedded C language.

Also students presented paper on “Light Trees-Optical Multicasting” which was shortlisted out of 300 papers submitted in MANIT Bhopal.
